About Us
Dedicated Professionals
We are a team of highly skilled speech-language pathologists dedicated to helping those with communication difficulties to grow and reach their potential. All of our speech-language pathologists are NYS licensed and are ASHA certified clinicians.
Individualized services
We treat a variety of speech and language disorders including, but not limited to, receptive/expressive language disorders, social communication disorders, articulation, fluency/stuttering and motor speech disorders (apraxia) using highly individualized treatment approaches and the latest techniques such as PROMPT.
Private pay and CPSE related service provider
We provide speech and language therapy in the Bronx and lower Westchester County including Yonkers, Mount Vernon, Eastchester, Bronxville, Scarsdale, New Rochelle and more. We provide speech therapy services to qualified children, ages 3-5, through the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) at no cost to you. We also offer private pay speech therapy to children, from birth through adolescence, in the home, school, or community setting.
Telehealth
In addition to in-person speech therapy services, Acorn Therapy also offers speech therapy via telehealth. Benefits of telethealth sessions include flexible scheduling, increased access to services, and a reduced risk of illness.
